Mounting & coverage
Mounted centrally above the court at the highest point of the enclosure (typically 5–6 m), angled to capture the full 10 × 20 m playing area. Glass walls: lens positioned to minimise glare and reflection — avoid direct angles into rear glass panels. Panoramic wide-angle lens required to capture both pairs of players simultaneously.
Constraints to know
Padel courts have glass rear and side walls — camera positioning must avoid backlighting from open-air courts. Standard Wi-Fi or LAN connection required. No federation-level restrictions on court cameras for recreational or club-level use. Outdoor courts may require weatherproofed enclosures.
